I have been looking forward all week to getting my first cook going on the new Pellet Joe from Kamado Joe. I wanted to go right out of the gate and do a high temperature cook on this grill, so a reverse-seared ribeye seemed like a great place to start. I put the steak on the grill in the lower temperature smoke for a while and then cranked the dial to get the grill screamin' hot to finish it off.
Stick around as I continue to put this new grill through it's paces. My next video will be a low and slow Boston Butt. I'll probably get a pizza on following that! What would you like to see cooked on the Pellet Joe?
