Pediatric cardiologists and surgeons from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia discuss the three stages of surgery commonly involved in the reconstruction of the heart in children with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), which include the Norwood procedure and the Fontan operation.
