Chewy toffee cookies recipe
Ingredients
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tbsps white sugar
1 small egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Toffee:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
Heat and mix till it turns golden brown then place on tray for it to cool and harden
Cut into small pieces
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F.
2. Mix butter and sugars
3. Add egg and vanilla, mix well till creamy
4. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
5. Add dry ingredients to the batter and mix until just combined.
6. Fold in toffee.
7. Scoop and place in tray
8. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350
