Goodbye. Last Ride on the Mitsubishi Traction Elevators at the San Francisco Centre Mall.

Описание: Here is my final ride on the main Mitsubishi elevators at San Francisco Mall, formerly Westfield SF Centre. At the end of the video, I take one of my last views of the atrium while hearing the echoing Christmas music. These elevators were installed in 1988. The fixtures were replaced with innovation bar buttons. This video was filmed during the very last Holidays in this shopping center. These used to go up to Nordstrom, but since Nordstrom shuttered their doors in 2023, only the lower mall levels remained accessible. These were located right in the center of the mall playing a vital role carrying passengers within the 10 story shopping facility. Ever since Nordstrom closed, the downfall of these began where there was more instances of vandalism and more cosmetic wear. Maintenance has also degraded resulting in many of them being out of service occasionally. Despite that, these still ran almost flawlessly indicating these elevators have held up really well throughout the past 37 years. These were one of my favorites to ride even when these started to lose their shape quickly. I'm definitely going to miss these. Farewell, Mitsubishis.
