NONSURGICAL alternative to thyroidectomy: My experience with Thyroid RFA (July 2019)

Описание: Here's the story of my trip to Charlottesville, Virginia where I had a nonsurgical alternative to thyroidectomy called thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) to shrink my massive thyroid nodule.

Update: After a recent conversation with my doctor, I learned that my nodule was actually 65-75 mL in volume prior to treatment, rather than 42. This was discovered when looking at more recent imaging, taken after my allergic reaction to antibiotics in May 2019. The other volume was taken from imaging done in February 2019.
