Written during late-night sessions in 2024 and 2025, Shadows and Dust was created in moments of exhaustion and reflection on the state of the world. These songs draw on themes of grief, war, memory, and resilience inspired by the people and places that continue to endure despite everything. Recorded on a Tascam DP-006 with live vocals and guitar and cajon and bass added later. Core performances were captured in a single two-hour session, preserving the raw urgency and emotional immediacy of the moment they emerged.
