Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has confirmed to Sky News a drone strike at RAF Akrotiri, a British base in Cyprus, targeted the runway.
She added: "We're not able to provide further information and detail at this point, but obviously, all of the precautionary measures are being taken around the base."
