The brand new Algoma Endeavour arrives at lock 8 and then sails out of Port Colborne after completing her first voyage through the Welland Canal.
The Algoma Endeavour made her way over to Canada from the shipyard in Croatia, where she was constructed.
This is the second vessel built by the Rijeka shipyard for Algoma (the first one was the Algoma Intrepid).
She departed Croatia on March 4th and sailed to Spain and then from there she made her way out of the Mediterranean Sea and then onto the Atlantic Ocean.
Algoma Endeavour arrived in Montreal on April 24th, 2025.
From there she headed down to Hamilton, ON, arriving April 30th.
Late on May 2nd she departed Hamilton for Goderich, passing through the Welland Canal on May 3rd.
The Algoma Endeavour, commissioned by Canada's Algoma Central Corporation is the longest ship (740-ft forward-mounted).
this is the second vessel built by the Rijeka shipyard for the Canadian client (the first one was the Algoma Intrepid).
