Competing at the A/BPU Newcastle Qualifier for 2026. This is a qualifier for the following competitions:
A/BPU British Full Power Championships 2026 - the 7 days 500+ lifter National finals at the Pendulum Hotel and Conference Centre, Manchester.
A/BPU Single Lift British Championships 2026 - the 3 day National finals at the Arnold Sports Festival UK hosted at the National Exhibition Centre, as part of the huge Arnolds Expo in March 2026.
The A/BPU United Kingdom Powerlifting Games 2026 – the event at the FitXpo in Coventry at a world stage arena in November which the date is still to be set for.
A/WPC European Championships 2026 in Limerick, Ireland.
The A/BPU British Championships both Full Power (over 7 days) and Single Lifts over 3 days (at the Arnold Sports Festival) are the ONLY gateway to the British Team for the WPC and AWPC World Championships in Baton Rouge, New Oleans,USA and Manchester, UK. If you come top 3 at the British in your class, then you may join the team. For those who qualify for the UK Powerlifting Games, if you manage to win your class, then you win your place at the British Championships 2026, its quite a good deal!
