In the last episode, we covered the foundational anti-inflammatory tools—omega-3 fatty acids and curcumin—and why they sit at the base of nearly every biological age reversal protocol.
In this episode, we go deeper.
These are the advanced therapies we use when patients are inflamed, fatigued, and stuck—tools that work at the molecular level to shift the body out of chronic inflammation and into repair.
1. Fasting
Fasting is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory interventions available.
It lowers insulin, stabilizes glucose, activates AMPK, and suppresses NF-κB signaling. It also enhances autophagy, allowing cells to clear damaged components that drive inflammatory stress.
Fasting improves gut barrier integrity, reducing endotoxin exposure and systemic inflammation.
For most patients, a 13–16 hour overnight fast is sufficient to produce meaningful anti-inflammatory effects.
2. Anti-Inflammatory Peptides
Two peptides play a central role in inflammation control:
Thymosin Alpha-1
Modulates immune function by reducing excessive inflammation while strengthening immune balance. It lowers IL-6 and TNF-α, increases regulatory T-cell activity, and helps normalize immune signaling associated with aging.
KPV
A peptide derived from alpha-MSH, KPV is especially effective for gut-driven and systemic inflammation. It inhibits NF-κB, lowers IL-1β, and supports immune regulation without suppressing immune function.
Both peptides are highly targeted and well-tolerated when used appropriately.
3. Sleep Optimization
Sleep is one of the strongest regulators of inflammatory biology.
Poor sleep raises inflammatory cytokines, disrupts hormone signaling, and accelerates biological aging. Deep sleep restores immune balance, mitochondrial repair, and neurological clearance.
Optimizing sleep architecture—not just sleep duration—is essential for reducing chronic inflammation and improving recovery, cognition, and resilience.
4. Placenta-Derived Protein Arrays
These are among the most advanced anti-inflammatory tools in regenerative medicine.
Placenta-derived protein arrays contain cytokines, growth factors, and microRNA that downregulate inflammatory pathways and upregulate repair signaling. They shift tissue biology away from degeneration and toward regeneration—without cells or DNA.
Clinically, they are especially helpful in patients with persistent inflammation despite lifestyle and supplement-based interventions.
How These Tools Work Together
Fasting reduces metabolic and gut-driven inflammation
Peptides rebalance immune signaling
Sleep restores hormonal and neurological regulation
Placenta-derived protein arrays reset tissue-level inflammation
Layered on top of foundational therapies, these tools produce a system-wide reduction in inflammaging, improving both symptoms and biomarkers.
What’s Next
In the next episode, we’ll bring everything together and walk through how to build a coordinated anti-inflammatory protocol, including sequencing, lab-guided adjustments, and integration into a full biological age reversal roadmap.
