In this video, I’ll walk you through a simple way to start handing off decisions without losing control.
What you’ll learn:
Why task delegation fails when the decision still sits with you
A 5-day log you can do to capture every time you’re asked to do something (not just “firefighting”)
How to use the 4Ds model on each item:
--- Do: only if you truly must
--- Delegate: hand it off (with guardrails)
--- Defer: create a cadence (e.g., batch approvals weekly instead of 3x/day)
--- Delete/Ditch: remove low-value work altogether
How to apply a “first fix”: choose 2–3 delegate items and build simple decision guardrails (limits, conditions, and a lightweight review process)

Example I cover: invoice sign-offs. You can hand them off safely by setting approval thresholds, customer/product rules, and a quick daily review so you keep control without doing every decision yourself.
