This is a slideshow video set to music recorded by Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys in 1966/67 for inclusion on the legendary Smile album. The reported concept was to record four related tracks representing Fire, Water, Earth, and Air and the suite of songs was to be called 'The Elements'. Other than 'Fire', it's not known exactly what 'The Elements' would have consisted of, and this video is merely a fan mix speculation of one possibility. It is likely that music for 'The Elements' was never completed before the Smile project was aborted. Brian Wilson himself has been quoted as saying that 'Air' was a piano piece that was never finished. 'The Elements' as it might have been presented in 1967 still remains one of the great Smile mysteries. The other Beach Boys are featured on vocals on the 'Fire' and 'Water' pieces of this video. All thanks and praise to Brian Douglas Wilson for gifting us with this awesome music and the Beach Boys for their vocal contributions.
