The Staggered Stance Hamstring Stretch is a simple and effective movement to improve hamstring mobility and reinforce proper hinge mechanics.
Using a staggered stance allows you to focus on one leg at a time while maintaining balance and control.
Key coaching points:
Staggered stance position
Front leg stays as straight as comfortable
Send hips back like a deadlift
Let arms hang relaxed
Inhale as arms move back
Exhale as you return upright
Move smoothly without forcing range
Repeat for the prescribed number of reps before switching sides.
This exercise helps improve:
