Welcome back, today as a 100th episode treat, I'm going to show you how to make a "perfect" replica of your pet in cake form.
Here's what you'll need:
-3 boxes of betty crocker cakes of choice
-9 eggs
-3 cups whole milk
-1.5 cups vegetable oil
-4 sticks of butter
-5 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
-4 tbsps whole milk
-2 tsps vanilla extract
-Pinch of salt
-Black food coloring
-Colored icing gel
Start by cooking up the cakes following the package instructions...obv. Then let the cakes cool down (I made 6).
To make the buttercream frosting, whip the butter for about 5 minutes, then add in the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time. Once combined, add the 4 tbsps of whole milk and the vanilla extract along with a pinch of salt.
Now stack up the cake while putting some buttercream between each layer.
Once the cake is stacked, do your best to carve it into an exact replica of your pet, then cover with frosting.
Now eat your pet cake.
