This 45-minute Yoga for Runners + T-Rexes practice blends yoga and mobility to support more sustainable running and everyday movement. It’s designed to address the common patterns runners develop primarily in the lower body - tight hips, stiff ankles, fatigued calves, and a desk-worker-went-running upper body - while maintaining steadiness and nervous system regulation.
The practice weaves together functional mobility, some light yin yoga postures, and gentle strength to help you move with more ease and resilience.
This practice focuses on:
• hip, ankle, and lower-body mobility for running sustainability
• gentle strength and stability to support joint health
• smooth transitions and breath-supported movement
This practice may be supportive if you:
• run regularly and want to reduce wear and tear
• feel tight, repetitive, or one-sided in your movement patterns
• want mobility work that complements, rather than replaces, running
• prefer a calm, non-punitive approach to maintenance
This is not a performance-oriented or high-intensity class. You’re encouraged to move slowly, notice patterns, and make choices that support longevity rather than pushing for range or stretch.
