Welcome to the new series of promo videos: Where Transitfanning Happens. This first one is Transit Strikes for YRT/Viva and GO Transit.
GO Transit and York Region Transit \ Viva will strike at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, October 24 if a deal is not reached since operators rejected the new deal weeks prior.
The strike affects Miller, Veoila (York BRT / Southwest), and First Student Divisions, and GO Transnit. This will impact 250,000 riders.
UPDATE: It's business as usual at GO Transit's surface division following a strike being averted on Suinday, October 23, pending a ratification vote.
This promo is a parody of NBA's Where Amazing Happens commercials.
