Ingredients
• 1 can oxtail soup (approx. 400 g | 14 oz)
• 400 ml water (refill the can) | 1 ⅔ cups (UK/US)
• 1 large onion – diced (150 g | 1 cup)
• 2 carrots – sliced (200 g | 1 ½ cups)
• 2 medium potatoes – diced (300 g | 2 cups)
• Pinch of herbs (optional)
• Salt & pepper – to taste
For the dumplings:
• 125 g self-raising flour | 1 cup (UK), 1 cup (US)
• 60 g suet (or cold grated butter) | 4 tbsp | ¼ cup (UK/US)
• Pinch of salt
• Pinch of herbs (optional)
• 3–4 tbsp cold water (45–60 ml | 3–4 tbsp)
