I have no rhyme or reason as to how I pick a deck. I go through the dozens that I have built and play whatever jumps out at me until I hit one that makes me want to play it more. That's how I chose Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR, that's how I chose Gouging Fire ex, and that's how I came back to Mewtwo VSTAR.
I built a rough version of this months ago. I played it again, updated it with the newest cards that fit, and there you go.
I didn't choose it to feature because I like purple. I chose it, because it's good. Really good.
Don't let the gatekeepers tell you what you have to play. If you like Mewtwo, then try this one. It's better than I remember. I think you'll like it.
