Porcupine and Hanson layouts are both possible in 15-tone equal temperament. I have a lot of thoughts about both layouts since I've used both of them to make music in 15. I think I'll be sticking with Porcupine for the foreseeable future; both have deep pros and cons. Hanson's double-key structure makes it difficult, and Porcupine's large group of black keys makes it hard to subitize.
