-Beneficial disability programs: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Kurzweil3000.
-Different method of assessment to undergraduate exams. The sitting of written exams is a left temporal lobe activity. My surgeries have seen this region mostly removed from my brain. Post-Graduate studies is based on research and the writing of a thesis, where these programs strongly benefited me.
-A great non-prejudicial supervisor.
-3 theses (2007-2015) titled:
“An Exploration of the Psychosocial effects that school-aged children with Child Absence Epilepsy (CAE) experience when their condition is misdiagnoses as Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)”. MPhil
“The Subjective Well-Being in Men following Neurosurgery for Adult Onset Epileptic Seizures.” PhD
-2016 joined the adult medicinal cannabis trial for adults with focal seizures, which benefited me.
-2017-21 returned to USYD to conduct Post-Doctoral research on: "Can you keep a secret? How the Stigma of Living with Epilepsy influences Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP)."
