Lappa Valley Winter Works Update Part 2: Exciting developments at East Wheal Rose

In this update Ben heads to East Wheal Rose, where the new platform and concourse are taking shape. With fresh tarmac, accessible walkways, picket fencing and landscaping underway, the whole arrival area is being reimagined to give visitors the best first impression when they step off the train next season.

But that’s only part of the picture — improvements also continue around the park: upgraded routes, new seesaws in the playground, and the long-awaited return of the baby go-round for February half term!

And for those following the bigger masterplan… we reveal what’s happening to the old gift shop and why a brand-new retail and visitor hub is on the way!
