A requirement for the Private Pilot Certificate is to conduct 3 takeoffs and landings at an airport with an air traffic control tower. This video shows my completion of this requirement, fast forwarding to the ATC calls involving me.
Students at non-towered airports (like me) can feel intimidated by ATC at first, but with practice it becomes easier. This didn't go perfectly, I had to repeat a couple things and ask for clarification, but it doesn't stress me out anymore because I know there's a person on the other end who is happy to help.
