HUGE TRAINS over the TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILROAD & A Train after DARK! Donner Pass 2024

Описание: Part II here of the Donner pass action! Got some cool trains headed Eastbound up the grade with some cool loads and a lot of Power!

This is UP's Roseville Sub, near Magra, CA - MP148.

(1) First up an Eastbound Manifest with 3 Engines on the point and 2 more Cut-In DPU's is digging into the side of the mountain. I believe this was the MRVGR, Roseville, CA to Green River, WY. This was a big one, pretty cool watching it work it's way over the mountain!

(2) Next up should be the MRVNP. Service from Roseville, CA to North Platte, NE! This was another beast, with a really cool LOG LOAD about 3/4's of the way back! That was really cool to see, we don't get those down south that much. This one had 1 DPU shoving on the rear!

(3) And lastly, an Eastbound Intermodal IOANP, climbing thru MP148 after Dark! 🔦 Enroute from Oakland, CA to North Platte, NE.
This was one of the more fun ones we watched. It was powered up pretty good with 1 cut-in DPU and another bringing up the rear making pretty good speed! Once the head end goes by, I turned on the flashlight and got a cool, Unique view of this one Climbing the Sierra Nevada over Donner Pass. This was nice, watching at night!

So enjoy the different experience and the sounds are great! You can hear these diesels for miles at night up there!
