About this visit:
The James R Barker arrived Duluth MN for the First time this season May 12, 2025 at 17:08 in the late afternoon. Arriving with a special request from the bridge for the "Barker Salute" so the new Bridge Operator can "hear and feel" this famous salute! They arrived light, heading to the CN dock to load Iron Ore Pellets for Burns Harbor IN. They spend 18.8 hours loading at CN, departed Duluth May 13 at 14:12, making their visit a total of 21.1 hours.
In total this was their 6th visit to Lake Superior for the season. All their other visits have been to Two Harbors. All visits for Iron Ore.
