GURU Success Mindset number one, speed of implementation. This mindset comes from a friend that I used to work with. The principle is very sound. The idea is that when they studied high income professionals, I believe it was sales professionals that earned over a quarter of a million dollars a year. What they found is that they had this one trait in common, and it was speed of implementation; meaning that when they got an idea, they didn't wait to implement it. When they got a good idea, they went and they implemented it immediately.
I found that right now, with all the new information coming in, all the change that's happening in the world, the kind of acceleration, that if you want to remember something, if you want to use something, you need to use it as soon as you learn it, to drive it into your memory, and to drive it into your nervous system.
If you don't implement as soon as you learn something, you're almost certainly to forget about it, or have something else show up and take its place, and you'll never use it. Speed of implementation is key. That's why in this program, I'm going to teach you ideas, and then we're going to do exercises, and I'm going to encourage you to use them. It's why I tend to reward speed of implementation whenever we have contests and offer prizes, and do things where we incentivize people to use the materials that we've learned.
