Who are we? What is the meaning of our lives? Today, digital technology has made us question what place have we occupied in the universe. Technology is no longer just a mere tool as it is inexplicably entwined in our everyday lives. Mr. Melvin Poh is the founder of Empirics Asia, a knowledge crowd-publishing platform that seeks to gather and provide access to the collective knowledge of Asia through all social fields. In recognition of his work, Melvin has been featured on the Forbes list for 30 Under 30 and Prestige’s Top 40 Under 40 list. Through his TEDx talk, he seeks to fully investigate the meaning of life in the digital age. He is the founder of Empirics Asia, a knowledge-sharing platform that seeks to gather and provide access to the collective knowledge of Asia through all social fields.
To date, Empirics has published over 1 million open-access articles, worked with thousands of authors and has established an extensive international readership. With Empirics, Melvin is on a mission to create a single centralized and open-access hub for human knowledge, experience and insights.
