In this video we have discussed briefly about the life and works of one of the earliest writers in the history of English Literature. Geoffrey Chaucer was a great writer who has recorded the norms, culture and lifestyles of medieval period through his poetry. His famous work is 'Canterbury Tales'.
It is believed that from Chaucer English Literature started properly and after him, many great writers came. This is because before him there are no records of any writer like him or any known writings with a known writer.
