Gadag Shock: Beer Bottle & Knife Attack Near Durga Bar

Описание: A brutal cinema-style assault has been reported near Durga Bar at Mulgund Naka in Gadag city. Three youths, identified as Mushtaq, Abhishek and Sahil, allegedly stormed into a local hotel and launched a murderous attack on Arun Kotnekal. The assault involved a beer bottle, sharp weapons and repeated stabbing, resulting in heavy bleeding and severe injuries.

Mobile footage captured by bystanders shows the attackers using a sword, knife and bottle in the presence of several people. Preliminary information suggests that an old rivalry may be behind the incident. The victim sustained injuries to the neck, face, head, abdomen, chest and hands before being rushed to the hospital by locals.

Following the attack, the accused individuals fled the spot. Gadag DYSP Murtuza Khadri and CPI Julakatti visited the scene and initiated an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the suspects.
