INGREDIENTS
2 lbs. ground beef
1 large yellow onion [diced]
1 cup. taco seasoning
2 cups. enchilada sauce
12 . 6in. flour tortilla shells
1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1.
preheat oven to 350
STEP 2.
brown ground beef for 5 min.
STEP 3.add onion, cook for another 3-5 min. add taco seasoning
1/2 cup of water, and stir all together continue to cook until liquid
mostly dissolve
STEP 4.
in a greased baking dish add 1/2 cup enchilada sauce on bottom
of dish, then place 4 tortilla on top so they cover bottom of dish, place some
beef on top of tortilla, follow by 1/3 cup of sauce and a cup of cheese
STEP 5.
place 4 more tortilla on top of cheese , and repeat beef, enchilada sauce and cheese
STEP 6. place final 4 tortilla shells on top, and replace the remaining
sauce and cheese, cover with foil and bake for 25-30 min.
remove foil and bake another 10 min.
