오늘 영상에서는 약수역에서 출발해 신당동 달동네 골목을 둘러보고, 마지막으로 다산성곽길을 산책하며 마무리하는 코스로 함께 걸어보려고 합니다.

신당동의 이 골목들은 1960~70년대 서울이 빠르게 성장하던 시기에 형성된 언덕 위 주거지입니다.
비탈진 땅 위에 사람들이 하나둘 집을 짓고 살기 시작하면서 자연스럽게 골목과 계단길이 만들어졌고,
1980년대에 이르러 지금과 같은 모습으로 자리 잡게 되었습니다.

좁은 골목, 오래된 담장, 층층이 이어진 집들 속에는
화려하진 않지만 당시 서울 사람들의 평범한 일상과 시간의 흔적이 남아 있습니다.

이 순서로 천천히 걸으며,

Hello, this is Hidden Seoul.

This video is a quiet walking journey through a lesser-known side of Seoul,
starting from Yaksu Station, passing through an old hillside neighborhood,
and ending with a peaceful walk along Dasan Fortress Wall Road.

The hillside neighborhoods in this area were formed during Seoul’s rapid urban growth in the 1960s and 1970s, when many people built small homes step by step on the slopes due to limited housing.
By the 1980s, these areas became more settled, with brick houses, narrow alleys, stairways, and everyday living spaces taking shape.

As you walk through these streets today, you can still feel traces of ordinary life from old Seoul — aging walls, layered rooftops, and quiet paths that reflect a different pace of the city.

This walk follows the route below:
Yaksu Station → Sindang-dong hillside neighborhood → Dasan Fortress Wall Road

No narration, no rush —
just a slow walk through a place where time feels gently paused.
