This is a great place to set up a base camp to explore the beautiful area around Mexican Hat and Monument Valley. The price to camp here is $15 plus tax per night and you can pay online thru the website: www.mexicanhatrocks.com. A link will take you to hipcamp where you can pay. Some of the sites are on BLM land if you take the road to the left (the sites should be free starting 200 feet after the cattlegaurd).
There are no bathrooms (bring a bucket or take your waste & animal waste with you and dispose of), and no garbages (take all your trash with you).
Remember that this is private land, follow their rules so the rest of us can enjoy camping here!
