The Biju Janata Dal has expelled former Choudwar-Cuttack MLA Pravat Biswal over alleged indiscipline and anti-party activities. The action was taken by party president Naveen Patnaik.
Following the expulsion, Biswal strongly reacted, stating that he has never engaged in anti-party work. He claimed that as a disciplined party worker, he only raised concerns wherever he noticed shortcomings. He also hinted that certain former ministers were responsible for the current situation within the party.
Biswal announced that he will address a press conference at 12 PM tomorrow to present his side before the people of the state.
