Ingredients
Colostrum milk - 1 cup
Milk -3 cup
Jaggery- 3/4 cup or according to taste
Cardamom- 1 tsp
Colostrum milk: This is the foundational ingredient, preferably milk from the first or second day after calving .
Regular milk: Often used in combination with colostrum milk.
Jaggery or sugar: Used to sweeten the pudding.
Strain the milk mixture
Cardamom powder: For flavor.
The core of Ginnu lies in the colostrum milk, which is blended with milk, a sweetener like jaggery or sugar, and flavored with cardamom powder. The mixture is then steamed until it sets into a firm pudding.
