[MKW TAS] Rainbow Road Lap 1 (no glitch) - 44.878

This TAS has been on the stove for a while now, with us having started it around March 2024 just as a side project without any plans of beating bike. Initially, I was just messing around with the moonjump and trying to see if I could conserve EV for a bit longer after the landing. I ended up finding that, with really precise movement, you could land on the inside of the turn and hang your wheels off the edge so that the EV dissipation is very minimal.

I originally was only ever able to maintain 20 EV around the turn, but after a lot of optimization, about 65 EV was possible with a good exit angle, which could then be carried through the wavy road. Then after a lot of workshopping in the figure 8, we found that it was better to mimic bike strats at the beginning and then transition to the zipper near the end.
Props to Marth for finding the optimal zipper with a crazy instant landing trick into a slope boost landing which let us build some EV to cross the gap with more speed. I then found the super low cannon which allows for a clip backwards through the fence to land and shroom earlier.

The U-turn zipper was probably the biggest roadblock while making this TAS and is also the reason that I'm not finishing the 3lap before posting this, as it took around 5 months to get past it, even with on-and-off attempts from like 7 other TASers (huge thanks to Alego for finally getting us past that terrible section). It was originally kind of discovered by me and Michi in the half gravity TAS Comp task, then shown to be possible on 150cc by Thomas. I also found the EV strat after the U-turn, which is very annoying to optimize but also is very cool. Ejay helped with the turnskip landing, plus the RFH on the side of the ramp which sometimes just gave more speed randomly, and the ending miniturbo was found by me and only saves a few hundredths of a second.
Fun fact: this tas differs from the old kart RR WIP in every single section:

Shroomless moonjump, EV preservation, double flip trick on wavy road, reject road boost in figure 8, slope boost zipper strat over turnskip, super low cannon, shroom after cannon, clip U-turn zipper, EV after U-turn, rfh on side of ramp, ending mt strat.

Funner fun fact: This lap 1 is actually flap bkt by .008 because there was no actual NG flap and this beats the 3 lap bkt's lap 2/3 of 44.886.
