Seu Franco, a 67-year-old trans man who had to live on the streets at the age of 13 because he didn't feel accepted by his family. His testimony reveals the process of his long-time-dreamt masculinizing mastectomy, carried out at the age of 66.
“LGBT+60: Bodies that Resist” is a journalistic documentary/web series that narrates the inspiring stories of LGBT+ elderly people in Brazil. In January 2024, the third season premiered focusing on the achievements and celebrations of five real characters who live in an LGBTphobic and ageist society. It also portrays testimonies that refer to struggle and resistance — with memories of the Brazilian military dictatorship and the height of the AIDS epidemic — they talk, intimately and sensitively, about the pains and delights of experiences lived over more than six decades.
