In late August we fly into Toronto with Air Transat from London Gatwick, and transfer to family home in Aurora
We have a few excursions planned – firstly out to the East to pay our respects to dear departed family members – this will allow us to stay in Cambellford for a couple of nights, and pass through Peterborough on the way (Port Perry is also worth a visit)
– and secondly a road trip northwards up to Manitoulin Island and onwards to Sudbury, back on the ‘mainland’
Before flying onwards to Vancouver, we also visited relatives back in Peterborough, but this visit is not included in this video
NB. the ferry to Manitoulin does NOT operate year-round – check their website for months of operation / bad weather cancellations – ontarioferries.com
