Sea Level formed with ex-members of the The Allman Brothers Band and even recorded on the same label, Capricorn. The initial lineup included three former members of the Allman's in 1977, but grew to six by 1980.
Their southern rock roots are present in their music, fused with blues and jazz.
In all, they recorded 5 albums and released a half-dozen singles. This single made it to #50 in while another single, "Living In A Dream" was a "Bubbling Under" in 1979 (# 101).
They disbanded in 1980, but a "Greatest Hits" CD was released in 1990.
