Описание: Thank you for watching this video. We are going to search the Scriptures and study subject of repentance. It may not be a popular topic within today’s pop culture church brand, but it is indeed something that needs discussion. Today’s teaching will cover ten distinguishing differences between true repentance which comes from the conviction and contrition of the working of God’s Spirt, and a simple ‘apology’ with no true godly sorrow accompanying.

The Word of God teaches us that it is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. Wow!!! Who are we to boast of anything! We cannot even repent of sin without the Lord working in us through His Goodness,Patience, and Compassionate Mercy to convict us.

It seems as if today’s hip, culture sensitive church has so downplayed sin, abused God’s Grace, and overused the word repentance so much to the point it has like so many other Christian’s terms become cliche’.

True genuine godly repentance produces CHANGE! God shows us this in His Word. The conviction of the Holy Spirit produces repentance, repentance causes us to acknowledge truth, and acknowledging truth frees us from the snare of the devil sin and deception. GOD CHANGES US WHEN WE REPENT!
