Описание: To us, a craft is a passion that you develop into a skill. A skill that you always continue to improve, no matter how well you do it. Our craft is our 45 years of making the world’s most refined mountaineering equipment. And just like a piece of Klättermusen equipment, this is ‘Crafted for life’.

This winter, we set out to find inspiration in others who have crafted a skill that helps them push their boundaries in the outdoors and in their daily life. One of these individuals is Anne Moen.

Anne Moen grew up in the mountain plateau region of Hardangervidda in Norway and has the outdoors deeply rooted in her DNA. Anne will be out in the wild for weeks in a row. Preferably all alone, to fully experience it all in the best way possible.

She has a master’s degree in Psychology but is also a multi-instrumentalist. Since a young age, Anne has picked up whatever instrument has crossed her path and learned how to master their respective differences. Depending on her mood, Anne plays everything from the saxophone and banjo to the legendary ‘Hardingfele’. A specific type of Norwegian violin known to be very difficult to play.

Playing an instrument by ear and being in outdoors have a lot in common. In the same way, you learn to understand what note should come next; you must learn how to read the mountains. It's changing conditions, the best route to take, or how far you can actually reach.

For Anne, these two worlds are everything. Very different, but so similar in many ways.

Crafted for life is also our community. Our peers are what defines us. And this is where we invite likeminded people who share the same values as us, in dialogues where we can learn from each other. Those who go left when others go right, those who always strive to evolve and those who put in the time. No matter what the craft might be.
