Описание: RP Roberts is a Welsh landscape painter who has reimagined the genre with bold, graphic clarity – fusing reverence for nature with contemporary visual language. With roots in graffiti culture, he brings a vibrant, unconventional color palette to traditional landscape painting. After 20 years in Manchester, he returned to his childhood home in Conwy, Wales, where the mountains and valleys continue to shape his work.

His depictions of alpine peaks blend realism with color fiction, capturing not just what we see but how we experience it. "The ultimate goal of a landscape painting is to not only capture the real world features of a place, but to also try and capture the moment of being there," he explains. Through unusual colors and textures, RP translates the emotional weight of standing before a mountain (the light, the weather, the season) into something both familiar and dreamlike.

His craftsmanship spans watercolor, linocut printing, and large-scale murals, but the mountain remains his constant subject. Drawing inspiration from artists like Francis Bacon and graffiti legends like Delta and Aryz, RP's work sits at the intersection of fine art and street culture. In an era of ecological fragility and digital saturation, his landscapes remind us why preserving craftsmanship matters – to show us how things were, are, and could become.
