MHR Sunbreak: Risen Chameleos Vs. Courage Elemental Hammer - 傀異克服オオナズチ ハンマー ソロ【サンブレイク】

Описание: Funky run where my Palamutes were fucking popping off. They deal so much damage they were stealing some of my hits by making Risen Chameleos flinch/topple lmfao

I've recorded a run with Courage before the update and I think I had a time of around 6:10 if not more. It was actually very difficult.

So I cannot tell if the jump to sub 4 was just better knowledge of the matchup, that much more damage with my new sets (and I was using the wrong set here lol)... Or again, broken palamutes lmao

I find Risen Chameleos to be one of the best monsters in the game, easily in the top of the best designed ones, and I also find him to be the most unique out of the Risen Elder trio.

It has a lot of unique patterns compared to regular Chameleos, it is very fast, has some quick double attacks that can sometimes be hard to deal with, it's unpredictable, and has a lot of tracking.

The key to this matchup is actually to try and keep (Risen) Chameleos downed as much as possible. Due to its head being higher up than most monsters, Courage has a lot of trouble hitting it aside from Level 3 Charges which have enough upward reach and magnetism to reach it.

Magnetism in Hammer's moveset is something I never talked about and I wish I thought about including this in my last TU3 video.
Magnetism is basically how some of Hammer's moves, in particular level 3 charges for both Courage and Strength, Impact Burst, and Impact Crater, have hitboxes that will automatically target and hit certain body parts and especially the head, even if another body part is in the way of that attack.

So here for example in this run you can see the many times I land Level 3 Charges on Risen Chameleos, and despite being at ground level and the torso body part seemingly being hit visually by the attack, it instead hits the head.
