G4★ Ukanlos Vs. Valor Rapid Bow - ウカムルバス 弓 ソロ【MHXX】

Akantor and Ukanlos are interestingly quite weaker to Shot damage compared to other damage types. It takes a little bit of practice, but this allows weakpoint-based Bows (Heavy, Rapid) and Bowguns (with both Normal and Pierce) to stagger them quite hard. In Bow's case, repetitive head staggers are possible.

Funnily, my two best runs on Ukanlos with this set were this one, at 6'42''10, and another at 6'42''88, which made me feel like I truly mastered this matchup to the point it''ll be hard to push lower. Though of course it is obviously possible.

Ukanlos is an awkward monster for me to judge because I really don't think it's that enthralling of a fight. It's a bit better than Akantor, which I genuinely dislike because of how ass its charge and digging patterns are, but this is a low bar to begin with. Ukanlos is dangerous in that it truly deals an absurd amount of damage if it catches you of guard, but I would say that the majority of its moveset is overall easy to deal with.

Athal-Ka's Golden bow is my favourite Rapid bow in MHGU. While Nerscylla's bow is overall stronger thanks to its access to more coatings and Level 1 Power Coatings, the Golden bow allows me to make this rare set with a whopping 6 activated skills, which is quite rare in GU ; and that lits up little lights in my brain.
