In many African communities,
depression is mistaken for laziness,
anxiety is seen as weak,
and trauma is dismissed as just a phase.
We silence struggles with shame,
instead of healing them with understanding.
This short film was made by
a one man cast and crew.
It took 3 weeks to shoot,
and only one person was on set the entire time.
