The second loco to be withdrawn at the Severn Valley Railway on the 2nd January 2023.
After reaching the end of her 10 year boiler certificate, the only surviving loco of the GWR 1500 class 0-6-0PT shunting engine, 1501, is seen on her last day of service.
An emotional day as 1501 and 2857. (watch • Last day for 104 year old, GWR heavy goods... ) are retired for the distant future... hopefully not too long!
