Med high winds forecast up and down the SE S.Aust coast today. Not here at first at Lake George, thought I had really out guessed myself. After slogging for half an hour or more in 5 knot breezes, it came in and I could enjoy it rather than cursing the walk out and back in.
There were heaps of people with bigger sails- so I think the 6.6m would have been good rather than the 5.8m on the 80ltr56w iSonic, with the 20cm NuclearWeedWeapon.
got a few k's in, nearly 46km, and peak speed officially of 29.557knots, rrr, as others did really well. And a smashed, or "smashed"? a good stud jibe over in KevsCnr, I was happy at least and the video doesn't catch it, maybe was end of the day and battery ran out. He says.
