Professor Anthony Capon is eager to welcome all health promotion colleagues to Oceania and reminds us of our responsibilities towards future generations.
Tony Capon is the inaugural Professor of Planetary Health in the School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. Tony is a public health physician with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience spanning academic, policy and practice roles.
A former director of the global health institute at United Nations University (UNU-IIGH), Tony is an authority on environmental health and health promotion. His research focuses on transdisciplinary understanding of urban futures, sustainable development and human health.
