SURPRISING PHILIPPINES ISLAND (Unexpected Adventures In Davao) Talikud, Samal

Описание: TALIKUD ISLAND SURPRISED ME. Only 20km from Davao City, but a world apart.

But what I saw was awesome: maybe the Philippines' strongest tricycles, beautiful white sand beaches, and a very cool bat cave. Plus some "fossils"!

Oh, and I found awesome Thai food beside the ocean!

Part of the Island Garden City of Samal, I took the pumpboat from Kaputian in the big island's south to Santa Cruz in Talikud.

What a great experience!

WHERE I STAYED:
Gem Crystal Water Resort - Brgy Cogon, Talikud, Samal Island

TRANSPORT:
I used the Samal barge (200 pesos each way for car) and then drove to Kaputian (25km), and took a pumpboat for 30 pesos per head. You can rent the whole boat for 900 pesos each way.

There are also pumpboats from Santa Ana wharf in Davao City going direct to Talikud, but the schedule is uncertain!
