Today we got to fly the Roldanillo we know and we love!!! Ideal, superb flying conditions. A bit low ceiling in the beginning of the flight but, by the time I crossed north of La Union, it was already PERFECT!
I had from yesterday a small task for me, yesterday did not work as there was too much shad but ñ today there was no reason why not to do it.
For a while I flew together with Flavius and Ovidiu, nice team work but eventually we split ways as we had different plans!
I had to be VERY careful over the boonies on the way to Sevilla as I had to be back in Roldanillo before 6 for registration.
The extra care paid off as I stayed always high and I did not get any stress to make it back to civilization. From La Paila I insisted to cut over the flats i diagonal and the climbs there were not so organized.
However, over the landing at Punto Grajales there were booming climbs, 3-4m/s so it was hard work to get down.
Bike, shower, registration and now all the other perks of Roldanillo afternoon: icecream, coffee, maybe a small Aquila Light :)
