This came from a 1981 rebroadcast of the Kenny Rogers movie, The Gambler, which debuted on the network on April 8 of the previous year. MicroJow has already posted breaks from this broadcast, but this video also contains commercials that can’t be found on his upload (and when I say that, I’m not just talking about the local commercials, even though our recordings originated in different cities).
1. Some brief channel surfing, followed by a partial preview of the movie
2. Dial Solid
3. Starkist Chunk Light Tuna
4. Chrystler

6. The film's opening credits (which has been unfortunately muted due to the folks administering the song of inspiration expressing their distaste in the song's use in this video, even though they were ok with it in the past), plus some of the film's first scene
(Nearly five minutes in, some of the movie is taped over a baseball game between the Cardinals and the Expos, but we'll be saving that for the very day it happened.)
7. CBS Wednesday Night Movie bumper

This is from DA003. Unfortunately, most of that video is terribly out of sync, as I'll explain on the very page for this recording. Here, I fixed the syncing issue, but you still might experience some slight problems. If you don't mind a poorly-synced video though, you can view the entire recording for $20 at https://ko-fi.com/s/8467dfed1f. And to donate to the channel, visit ko-fi.com/webcon.
Want to help around the channel? Just email me at [email protected] and tell me, in 500-1000 words what jobs would you like to do for this channel and why you'd make a great addition to this channel. If I like what you wrote down, I'll send you a link to a Google Drive folder where a document that outlines the feel of this channel, alongside another folder that contains an outline for an alternate history I made, and a chart for you to pick out the jobs you want to do for the video that will spawn from said alternate history is waiting for you. And if you decide to work for me, I'm gonna give you fair warning that until further notice, these jobs are non-paying jobs, so unless you don't mind that, please don't bother accepting this offer. But if you want to take it regardless, good for you. Either way, I'll see you soon.
While the content featured here is not my own, the very recording of it is my own. You may reuse these VHS recordings, but keep in mind the following:
1. Give credit to me. It can be either in the video description or (especially if the video's hosted on a site where you can't add any) somewhere in the actual video.
2. You may not use more than half of the runtime of videos of my VHS recordings in your videos. For example, you may not use more than 30 minutes of a 60-minute video of a commercial break. This rule goes for all videos of my VHS recordings uploaded to my YouTube or Google Drive account but excludes videos shorter than 30 seconds.
3. The use is not for commercial use. This rule applies to all verified YT channels.
4. If your video requests a waiver to the previous two rules, contact me on the email provided in the channel description.
If I catch you breaking these rules, I will report the offending video, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Thanks for watching.
FAIR USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
