Описание: With just 2 weeks to go until my first ultra marathon, I headed out for my final mountain training run on Ben Lawers, Scotland's 10th highest Munro at 1214m. What I didn't expect were 40mph winds and freezing conditions that made this one of the most challenging runs I've done.

This trail running video documents my solo ascent of Ben Lawers as part of my ultra marathon training. The weather deteriorated quickly once I got higher up the mountain. I pushed on to the summit, but it definitely tested both my physical preparation and mental resilience ahead of race day.

Ben Lawers is located in the Scottish Highlands and offers stunning views on a clear day. Today wasn't one of those days, but it was an important reminder about respecting mountain conditions and being properly prepared with the right gear. Despite the tough conditions at the top, the descent was beautiful and reminded me why I love trail running in Scotland.
